Module One Open Seminars

From time to time we hold open seminars for Module One at which anyone who is preparing for the exam is welcome, regardless of whether or not you are following a full course with us or at any other centre. The two-day seminars are held either in Milan or the Veneto region, and low cost flights to nearby airports, make them feasible even if you are coming from outside Italy. We'll also help you find accommodation to suit your budget. The seminars are ideal if you ...

... are self-preparing

... took the exam previously, but failed and now need to retake

... did a course at another centre some time ago, and need a short course to reactivate and consolidate what you learnt

The next seminar will be held in Milan on Saturday/Sunday 23/24 April 2015 and is restricted to participants aiming at the exam in June 2016. Numbers are limited to six participants, so apply early to be sure of a place.

What will you get from the programme ?

·  14 hours of seminars in a small group (max. 6 participants) giving you ample opportunity to raise any questions you may have.
. The chance to take a mock exam for both papers and to receive detailed feedback on your performance
·  A thorough review of all syllabus areas and clarification of any points that are unclear to you
·  Clarification of the requirements of each task on the two exam papers and of how marks are awarded.

What did they say they liked about the previous seminars?

Some of the things mentioned in post course feedback were :
  • Relaxed atmosphere
  • I now have a clearer idea of the exam papers in Module One and the marking scheme
  • Purposes and Assumptions have now become comprehensible words :)
  • Venue and being made welcome
  • Having everything explained so well and so thoroughly
  • Enjoying the laughter
  • Regaining lost motivation to continue and getting more inspiration
  • In one word : everything!
While one participant wrote...
I found out about the April pre-exam Delta Module 1 seminar quite by chance. Although I was doing the Delta Module 1 course at another school, I was feeling frustrated and felt I wasn’t getting enough support from the trainers therefore, I started looking through the internet for more input.
The seminar was extremely well prepared and helped me to understand what I was expected to know for the exam and most important of all, to realize what areas of the module I still needed to work on.
I found Sue’s help through the seminar, the follow-up online seminars and tasks on her website extremely helpful. I am convinced that without her help, I would never have passed.
I would have loved to have done the whole of Module 1 through Business Talk as the method Sue uses is varied, interesting and interactive, I learned so much in the month I had access to the course contents on Sue’s website, I certainly recommend the pre-exam seminars, they are an excellent preparation for the exam.
Thank you so much for your support Sue.

Course Locations

The next course will be held  in Milan, while we also run occasional courses in the historic town of Thiene in the Veneto region. Low cost flights fly to airports near both. We'll send you suggestions for both travel and accommodation when you contact us.

How do I apply?

We have to reach a minimum number of participants to run the course, and reserve the right to cancel if we don’t reach that minimum. On the other hand, if we’re oversubscribed, we’ll be awarding places on  a “first come, first served” basis.  So – once the details are confirmed, book as soon as possible to be sure of a place.

If you can't make it to any of the seminars which are currently scheduled, but would like to be put on our mailing list in order to receive information about future dates, contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as the details are finalised.
